Chicagoland Boxers was founded by, Adrian Moreno. His passion for improving the boxer breed began in his teen years, and since 1990 his vision to create the ultimate boxer has evolved into a collaborative effort between boxer enthusiasts who own dogs from his bloodline. Together they consult on the breeding and training of over 40 boxers! Their goal being the improvement and the maintaining of the boxer breed through Adrian's bloodline named, Boxers du Champ des Legendes.
This unprecedented collaboration allows for the monitoring of performance, growth, and temperament through all stages of life. The information collected is vital for the selection and breeding of the best dogs to the best dogs. This strategy has resulted in producing boxers who are living not only longer lives, but also Cancer-free and with out commonly known genetic defects which have historically plagued the breed. Here are some highlights of what Adrian's breeding practices have produced: Winning the Breeders Group in 2009 USA-BOX Nationals #1 KENNEL. Vice Champion Breeders Group in '12 USA-BOX Kennel Group. Producer of 2 USA-BOX National YOUTH WINNERS, '09, '12. D'Or du Champ des Legendes & Haggler du Champ des Legendes Only Boxer Kennel to win the Reproducer of the Year Award at the USA-BOX Nationals w Adams du L'Air du Verseau, IPO1, AD, ZTP. Producer #1 Brindle Female at USA-BOX Nationals '09. V1 Corona du Champ des Legendes, AD B.I.S. Winner at USA-BOX Nationals '09. Janet z Dybohurky Consistently producing V-Rated (Excellent) Boxers under the German Boxer Standard. "At the end of the day, Its all about producing healthy, intelligent boxers that live long and happy lives," Adrian says. Working to improve a breed that is predisposed to health issues is a monumental task, but ultimately it's a labor of love and a lifetime endeavor. Truly committing to the improvement of any breed is not for the faint of heart. How We Raise Our Boxers
We raise our boxers in NW Indiana, conveniently located just 35 minutes from down town Chicago, IL.
Our puppies have lots of room of plush landscape and terrain to explore and to stimulate their puppy brains. Our kennels give them ample space to exercise and play in a safe enclosed environment. We have tons of Boxer friends who stop by to play with puppies and give them extra socialization.
