BOXER NUTRITION. . .
When you continue to feed diets that are economical, and commercial, you compromise the health of your dog. Over time these cost saving practices mount up to weakening boxer genetics. Lending the breed to becoming Cancer prone, premature death rates and a host of disorders which our kennel has eradicated over generations with good feeding practices.

Understanding nutrition is key to breeding, and crucial to the health of any breeding program. Our feeding regiment changes on a daily basis in order to strengthen and build our dogs' bio-dome. According to scientific studies, 80% of our immune system is found in our gut. Therefore it's logical in order to improve health, we must improve our dogs' gut. By feeding a variety of protein sources, that range from chicken to goat, we ensure a diet a packed with an abundance of natural nutrients. Unlike dry food, which is devoid of life due to high heat processing and synthetically fortified vitamins, our feeding regiment has yielded unprecedented results on the podium. Our feeding philosophy is to balance over time, which strengthens the gut with a variety MEAT, limited carb intake, never potato, and lots of omegas coming from fish. Depending on the time of year or life stage of the individual, we vary feeding from a raw diet to a kibble combination.
Our dogs participate in events and health certifications that require we push them to their physical limits. In doing so, we have witnessed first hand the shortcomings of commercial diets. There is nothing packaged in a bag, that can match what Mother Nature intended dogs to eat. |
Why a raw diet is best?
-Our Boxers are maintained on a diet of fresh raw meats and are rotated on super premium grain-free dog food. It's not uncommon for our dogs to eat anything from raw goat, bison, beef, chicken, rabbit and venison in one week.
They enjoy raw bones a few times a week, with the occasional raw goats milk for healthy probiotics. Don't hesitate to contact me to discuss our feeding regiment.

We have taken great measures to strengthen our bloodline by feeding a variety of fresh, and natural foods. If you choose to feed a dry kibble, we recommend brands with a high meat content containing vitamins and minerals from whole food sources and using a low hypoglycemic carbohydrate binder.
Please ask questions about diet, before purchasing your boxer puppy regardless of whom you purchase from. If your breeder can not speak intelligently about nutrition, walk away. We want to see all boxers live happy and healthy lives.
