Our 25 year history of boxer breeding has evolved into a tradition of breeding excellence. Our passion for the boxer breed has gone well beyond the status of hobby breeding and has led myself and family on a journey to boxer perfection. Even though, we will be the first to admit that no boxer is ever perfect, yet to strive for anything less is what sets us apart from all other breeders. Our kennel has always chosen to walk the road less traveled in our breeding practices and evaluation practices. We have traveled across the country at times to breed to dogs with top pedigrees, excellent history of health, and above all being a correct representation of the breed. Our philosophy has brought us difficult choices to make at times, flying to Europe and importing top dogs of the time, as well as sometimes taking a risk on breeding to great dogs before their time. Our hard work and gambles of the past have paid dividends over and over again when our dogs have successfully produced National Winners and dogs who have competed in all canine sport arenas. All boxers have been judged by some of the breed's highest and most respected authorities both American and European. Our temperament for working ability and aptitude has also been evaluated by some of the best well known trainers in the World. I am proud to say that our kennel has lived up to its name, "Champ des Legendes" which has its origins from France. Our name translates to the Land of Legends.

Each dog is carefully evaluated from birth, critiqued in every stage of growth and then tested both physically and mentally before consideration to be bred. Every boxer puppy we produce is unique and new to our kennel and they truly are a work of art. Each puppy is the culmination of Boxer knowledge that encompasses World Class Dogs with accomplished working and show titles that many back yard breeders would dream of having. What to Expect With Your Puppy?We are a kennel that believes in Mother Nature knowing best. In turn, veterinary intervention is limited to wellness exams that specifically focus on cardio function and only one round of vaccinations are given at 7 to 8 weeks of age. Up to that point, the mother is on a nutrient rich diet of organic meats, unpasteurized milks, and omegas. This diet in turn makes our puppies extremely healthy and strong. We believe in building our puppies immune system from the inside out as oppose to relying on man made pharmaceuticals. We were the first to stop docking tails. We chose to this for a multitude of health reasons and I am glad to see other breeders follow us in this practice. We make exceptions only when we see a defect such as a kink in the tail. Due to our breeding goals, not every pup is suitable for every family, so we reserve the right to choose a pup for you based on our experience knowing our dogs and how they are bred and what they will become at maturity. We never allow strangers to come visit our litters or dogs. However, we do allow people to view our dogs during the off season which usually is in the fall months. Our puppies go home a week after they've received their first vaccinations and wellness exam. Its not uncommon for a veterinarian to report a puppy having a grade 1 or 2 heart murmur, that results will be fully disclosed after the exam but in my experience our puppies will almost 100% out grow the murmur by 6 months of age. At time of pick up we will thoroughly discuss your new puppy's diet and how to best raise your new boxer baby.

We occasionally organize boxer shows and informal meetups in and around the Mid West in which you will always be invited to attend. These events present excellent opportunities for socialization, and to learn about your boxer from other Champ du Legendes boxer owners. In addition, we offer boarding and training services the need ever arises; obedience boot-camps, one on one training, service dog training and training for shows. I encourage our new boxer owners to contact me at anytime 24hrs/7days for any concerns, advice, or recommendations about behavior, diet & nutrition, and medical/health advice. Essentially, we pride ourselves on being there for you during every stage of your boxer's life. I am not a fly by night breeder, but an established breeder of integrity that you can depend on for years to come.
